A Landmark With Its Own Story

Our home is the world-famous Smith Brothers Building, built circa 1887 and once known across the country for its distinctive glassware. Every creaky floorboard has a history — fitting, for a shop full of things that look like they've lived a life.

An Experience, Not Just a Store

We're in the middle of Downtown New Bedford's historic district — cobblestones, the Whaling National Historical Park, and some of the best small shops on the South Coast, all within a block. Park for free right out front (free all day on Saturdays), wander in, and take your time. The shelves change every week, and there's always someone at the counter who knows the story behind the piece you're holding.
